Therahappy specializes in treating plagiocephaly and torticollis with a conservative approach.
Are you noticing your baby favoring one side more than the other, having difficulty moving around easily, or hating tummy time? Therahappy is offering families in Houston free screenings for plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and torticollis (tight neck) in person or through telehealth, depending on family preference.
My treatment approach to treating torticollis and plagiocephaly is heavy on caregiver education and training to empower you to have all the tools you need to help your baby reach the important developmental milestones.

During your child’s screening, I will not only be looking at your child’s head and neck but also other key factors that lay a strong foundation for future development:
- Visual Motor skills (i.e. racking or scanning their environment)
- Fine Motor skills (i.e. grasping, reaching, pointing finger)
- Gross Motor skills (i.e. crawling, tummy time, sitting posture)
- Social Skills (i.e. eye contact, smiling, cooing, interacting with others in their environment)
- Primitive Reflexes (involuntary motor movements that are present at birth and should disappear throughout the first year of life)
- Sleep & feeding patterns
