DMI – Chair in Air

Initial Position: Child lies prone, on the table. Head away from you and feet towards
you.

Movement: Move one hand down to their pelvis with the fingers under the ischium and thumb on top of the thigh, bending the child’s hip. Repeat with the
other hand so that the child is in sitting position, with trunk and thighs at 90/90 degree position. Move the child slightly away from you so that they are suspended in the air. Balance and tilt the child so that their trunk is extended and directly over their hips maintaining the 90/90 degree position.
