DMI – Rhythmical Arm Placing in Four Point

Initial Position: Child lies prone, head away from you and feet
towards you, feet off the end of the table.

Movement: Slightly lift the child’s upper body and then place
it down again with pressure through the arm and hand. Move in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction, three moves to the right, and then three moves to the left, returning to the original
position. Counts are “1,2,3,3,2,1” Repeat with both sides.

Outcomes: bilateral arm weightbearing
